It's not fancy and in winters it can sometimes be a bit chilly, but darn it, they've got the best Gyro's in town. You can get a regular lamb gyro or chicken. Also a nice greek side salad or fries. All the food is better than your average bar and nice to see the greek items on the menu. It's also a good place to watch a game or for late night dining. Nice selection of Michigan beers. Highly recommended.
Omg, Gyros. Seriously. Get them. Extra Tz sauce. The drinks are decent, normal, good. Great local atmosphere in the heart of touristy downtown.
This place is great and I've never had a bad meal. Bartenders are awesome and the lamb gyro is delicious!
Sweet little bar on Front street. It's deceiving from the road but it is quite long. Seats around 50. Waitress Tyanna was really nice, quick and checked on us often. Both ordered the Gyro/greek salad. The food was good. I will come back.
The food was great and service was equally excellent ; we were visiting Traverse City and looking for a sports bar to watch some college football; we were glad we found the Uand I lounge !
I have lived in TC my whole life and can't believe I haven't tried this place until now. The food was incredible. Pizza crust is perfect and portions are ideal. It is quite dark inside and I love it. Service is great! Seat yourself and lots of bar seating. Parking out back too! I went back to back days because the food was so good. Will be going back regularly!
U and I restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm and friendly staff. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place for a meal with loved ones or a casual get-together with friends. The chicken wrap was delicious. My fiancé got their burger and really enjoyed it. The service is impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is top-notch. I highly recommend U and I restaurant for a memorable and delightful dining experience. I only have one thing I didn't quite like and that was the weak margarita which came in a small glass. I felt it could have been better for the price.
A great place with cozy seating! Many circle booths, a few tables and a long bar! Super busy but great service in this northern Michigan bar! They have many tapped beer along with full bar beverages. We have enjoyed many meals here and plan to visit each time we are in town. Staff and servers are friendly, we love the venue and the prices are reasonable!
We had "a cider" the name of which was unidentifiable because it's loooooud in here on a Saturday night at midnight...as it should be in a bar (later researching say this cider was the Octorock from Starcut Ciders). It was sweet, delicious, refreshing. Would def order again. We also had the fried cauliflower and Tater Kegs (a giant stuffed tater tot, basically). Both were good, but the Tater Kegs were the winner. A delightful potato pillow full of chives & cheese. 10/10 would order again. Everything came with ranch dressing. Apparently this is the place to go for a gyro, but we didn't get a chance to sample those. Def grateful for places open late in TC! Food was served until just before midnight, even tho they are open later. Street parking was easy and service was helpful & friendly.
